I love Resurrection Sunday!!! This year couldn't have been more beautiful. After hitting the sack at midnight the night before, I awoke at 6:30 am to birds chirping and the sweet smell of spring in the air. I laid in bed debating on weather to get up or sleep for an extra 10 minutes. After a few minutes of quiet time with the Lord, I got up.. Still had some Easter Day prep to do. Cupcakes to bake and frost, honey carrots to make. Not to be out done, as soon as I walked past my boys bedroom door I heard "Mommy's awake" Matthew could care less. Jacob tried again to wake him and then just followed me out to see what was in his basket! :) After letting Mr. Darcy and the puppies out, I was able to leave the back door wide open..and a cool breeze was blowing in. I made a cup of tea and started with cupcake prep. Jake was happy with his basket, yea! One of our Easter traditions is, we reuse the same basket. Spring is coming!!

It's a beautiful Palm Sunday here in Nj . My windows are open, air is breezing though the house. The scent of hythenis refreshes me. Hubby and boys went to church today. Mama stay home with the little girls. One of them wasn't feel well and Mama needed a time of encouragement from quite time with the Lord. I am currently planning my menu for the week. And will be getting Angel Food next Saturday. I am trying to stretch our food budget out as much as possible. With 7 hungry people to feed, it's hard work to plan enough meals and snacks! ;) Dh and I are working hard to stay on budget, after listening to many financial courses, we are convicted that we shall be debt free and work from a cash only basis. Our home is financed though. In case your interested we did Financial Peace Course from Dave Ramsey and Financial Freedom from Jim Sammons ! Both were great courses and you can walk away with alot of sound biblical financial teachings from both! :) Gas prices currently ar

We had our first camping trip of the season this past weekend. Friday was wet and rainy all day. But we treaked through the Green Dragon and bought some goodies and socks! :) We then headed over to the campground, set up and watch the creek rise and rise. We thought we might have to move but luckily it stopped raining and the creek went down. The kids has a great time as always. I love being able to let the run and play. There was only 8 other campers there, so it was pretty much empty. Wayne and I spent alot of time in reflection during our alone time and have made some major decisions. We had prayed and prayed that God would lead us in it all and he has. He has just led us away from what we thought. Amazing how God does things like that.
