Super Bowl Sunday

Ok, so my step-father is a huge football fans and a lover of the Giants, sooo for super bowl Sunday we pulled out all the stops, and step up the big screen in the neighbors yard at my parents house.

We had a total blast, hanging out outside to watch the game. The little ones were in and out all night.
We had a feast of Chili, Ham and Cheese melts, cheese dip, crab and avacado dip, the dips were so warm and so delicious. And our fill of soda and warm coffee.

    Very Cool, but Very cold... It was a great Game, Im soo glad the Giants won, even though I am a Titans fan. Yeah yeah I know they weren't any where near the superbowl.

Hubby was in an accident....

Proverbs 31 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. The blaring ring of the phone woke me on Tuesday morning... 7:15am... I knew as soon as I looked at the clock, something was wrong. No one calls here that early.. I quickly peel a child out of my arms and trying to not wake her, before the phone does. She had a restless night. "hello" in a whisper.. as I was still in my bedroom. Walking out of my room, I hear my darling hubbys nervous voice, "I was in an accident" Me, "Are you ok"... Him, "yes" Me" do you need me to come?" Him, "no, I'll call you" He explained what happened. His company truck was pretty messed up, and the air bags went off. He said he had some airbag burn, felt ok, just stressed. Home Love Hammock Style

This lovely gift was a 21st wedding anniversary present from my lovely husband.  I absolutely love this thing.. For many reasons...  My hammock brings me peace.   Why??  Because I love to be outside and be in nature.   So everyday weather and schedule permitting I try and get on my hammock.  It's bring me closer to my children.  They will see me out there and come out and lay with me on it.  From my 17 year old on down to my 5 year old.  My 17 year old and I have had the best chats just laying and swinging on that thing.  My youngest daughters 13, and soon to be 10 will bring their books out and  just veg and read with me.  My 5 year old will crawl up on that and just snuggle and chat with me, eventually giving way to the peacefulness of outside and fall asleep in my arms.
